Quote of the Day:
"We seldom get into trouble when we speak softly. It is only when we raise our voices that the sparks fly and tiny molehills of difference become great mountains of contention. The voice of heaven is a still, small voice; likewise, the voice of domestic peace is a quiet voice."
Gordon B. Hinckley
This is a good reminder to me! Sometimes I feel out numbered, so I talk loud to be heard... and then I wonder why the feeling in my home does not feel right!?

Good quote tracey. Don't know if I've heard it or at least remember it. That's a great one for every day living! I should put that one up in my house.
Love that quote! I agree with Audra! It would be a good one for my home. We often forget that the spirit leaves when anger is present!
My house doesn't ever seem to be quiet. I need to post that on every mirror. I really love that quote. I feel like I am the referee around here most the time. Maybe if I tone down my voice they will eventually follow.
OK Tracey, I left you a comment before, and it would not let me post, so I will try again. Tiff said to check your blog out, it is so cute. You have an adorable family and you sound like such a good mom. I love the quote, I should have read it earlier today before I screamed at my kids. It is true that yelling really does no good anyway. The spirit leaves and my kids toon me out! Thanks for the reminder.
I am right there too. I love that quote and need to hang it, look at, and live it more. I wish we were more soft spoken over here at the Farnsworth clan.
BORING! Write a new post about your Thanksgiving.... or are you too busy decorating your house?
Seriously, did you fall off the wagon?
