Back in November, I accepted a new calling to be the activities girl. So I got right to work and planned our Christmas party and I haven't stopped... Our new Bishop was put in the same month and decided it would be a great idea to have an activity once a month! WHAT??? I said, sure I can do that! The purpose of this is to have more opportunities to get our friends and neighbors out! January's activity was a fun movie night at the church with blankets, pillows, & popcorn! February was an adult progressive dinner with your Valentine and then we met @ the church for dessert and the newlywed game! March of course was an Easter egg hunt @ the park and a visit from the Easter bunny along with donuts and muffins. Last Friday night was our April Luau here @ my house. We had some awesome Hawaiian dancers that did some cool fire tricks, dinner, dessert & a fun Hawaiian trivia game! As for May, Bishop says... I am off the hook!

I wish I were in your ward too! You always plan the most fun activities! Bishop picked the perfect person for the calling. You are so detailed about throwing a party. Looks like everyone had so much fun!
Tiff is always telling me about the fun parties you are doing. Seriously that sounds like such a busy calling! Your back yard looks beautiful by the way!
Your ward is in for first class activities with you in the driver's seat. What great ideas you've done already. I've never had that calling and never want it. If I come across some good ideas, I'll send them your way.
tracey, you seem like you have been having fun activities. we have a good activities chairman too in our ward. we are doing an adult social saturday night and we are doing a softball game. subs and drinks are provided. i am not going to play, i haven't played since i was 12 and in YW, but aaron will and i will chat with the wives.
also, a fun game that we played at an adult social was the celebrity game. so we all had a sticky label of a celebrity's name on our foreheads that we couldn't peak at. everyone else of course saw it. we could only ask yes/no questions and we couldn't ask our spouse. the first time i played this it i had harrison ford and i think aaron had snoop dogg. :) it was so fun. we also played this game at aarons' 30th b-day dinner. my mom was hillary clinton, bryan was george clooney, my dad was john wayne. i didn't play cause i was in charge. it was a great game.
a fun game you can buy from deseret book is called the celestial game. it is fun. we just had a ward bbq that we had to bring a side dish and we had it at a huge park here in QC (it was for the whole family).

The party was first class all the way, as usual. Everyone I tell about our parties want to be in our ward. It sure makes us all want to stay in the same ward, I guess that is the point! Thanks for all of your and Scott's hard work. Next time, ask for more help!
