General Conference has always been a favorite weekend of ours....
Every 6 months our church holds a worldwide General Conference in Salt Lake that is broadcast all over the world in 71 different languages. My kids really look forward to it as well. We have coloring packets & games for the younger kids and the older kids are challenged w/ a prize for the best note takers. We enjoyed our biscuits ~n~ gravy which was a tradition in my home, that Scott & I have carried on. I think making it a sweet experience makes it all the more meaningful for us & for our children as they get older. My kids look forward to our family traditions and General Conference is one of our family favorites.

I had a few favorite talks.... one that stands out to me was Jeffrey R. Holland - I just love him. Through out his talk, I could hardly fight the tears back. He pointed out things about the Atonement that I had never thought about. I believe this talk will be quoted over & over again through out the years.
It was amazing.
I love our dear Prophet and his apostles. I am grateful for the revealing words that we are so lucky to hear every 6 months. Especially, I am grateful for my Savior. For his sacrifice. For his love for me.
