For some reason we had a really hard time getting a good family photo for our Christmas card this year... We ended up having three different photo shoots! Yes. I know, it was totally ridiculous... and the boys were not too happy about it! The first photo shoot was out in the pecans and I was not all that happy with them, for various reasons. So, I thought it would be no big deal to have my friend just come to my house and take a few shots in our driveway. Everything went smooth until I realized after she left that the F stop didn't get changed from a 3.2, on all of our family shots! So, if you know anything about photography, you would know that all of our family shots were totally blurry! I felt so bad for my family and especially my sweet friend who had to come back the next Sunday and try again. I suppose, the third times a charm! Except that, I'm still not completely in love with our family shot. I was really hoping that one would turn out so that I could have it blown up into a big canvas, to go over our fireplace. The one we have now is so outdated. I think Sophie was 18 months old in it!
Here are some of my favorite left overs that I have had printed for our home and want to have in this record. I will save the pecans photos for another post.
And yes, I changed the girls outfits from one week to the next. That's what happens when your out Christmas shopping every day... you can always find something better if you really keep looking. Kind of like... The grass is always greener, saying.
