Today was a special day for many reasons!
I can't think of a better place to have spent Emmie's 'one year anniversary' than in the Temple with my family and friends. After we attended a session, we had a balloon release out on the Temple grounds. It was a meaningful day and one I will never forget!
I am thankful for the Temple. The Temple is a place where we can receive instruction and be taught by the spirit. It is the bridge between heaven and earth. The Temple has become even more meaningful since Emmie has passed. When I am there, I am reminded that death can not severe families and they can be together forever! When death takes somebody you love, the Temple brings much comfort to your soul!
Another reason today was special is because my mom prepared herself to be in the Temple with us for her first time. I love her and am grateful for all that she has taught me and the great example she has been to me through out my life! I am thankful for family and close friends. Being in the Temple with those who I love so much, gave me a small glimpse of what we have to look forward to someday!

I was pretty bummed that Cannon was missing, due to a mandatory football practice! :(
