After 5 fun weeks in Laguna.... we are HOME!
Unfortunately the home that I love is sitting in a deathly HOT state, but that's all okay because I still love my home. There is nothing better then being home and sleeping in your OWN bed. I don't say that I love my home because of my "actual home", I say this because I love the people who live in it and around it. The beach is a wonderful place in all, but what good is it when you don't have all your family, friends and neighbors their to share in your joy. No offense to my wonderful parents and little sister's, but when you are raising your family and you have kids my kids age and things are going pretty smooth (now i need to go knock on wood) why rock the boat? My kids attend great schools and all have such great friends. Every year we go to this beautiful place, I have a husband who rehearses the same line to me, "come on hun, let's just rent and try living here for one year". Don't get me wrong, Laguna Beach has great people, ward and schools. I guess I am just comfortable with all the people that walk in and out our front door here in deathly HOT gilbert.... that I LOVE! I think it is a great place to raise a family, maybe someday sweetie.
The above picture is the view we looked out to from our family room window - what a beautiful site! We stayed on Crescent Beach with the famous seal rock on the horizon. The seal's hang out on this rock all day and all night, I will miss listening to the seal's honk their horns all night long!
I am very anxious to get back to my schedule and routine.
Lots of memories were made in this little house - I actually got a little choked up when I pulled out of the driveway Monday afternoon

I will not miss the many showers and towels that were used to keep the sand out of the house!

Don't even think about moving to California! You belong here in Gilbert. We would miss you all too much. Sorry Scott. We are glad you are all back!

It was so fun to see you guys! i was bummed you left. As much as I love the weather and scenery here I am kinda anxious to get home to my house and my husband. Like you said I love my bed! We need to do a bday celebaration for you start thinking where you want to go.

Welcome back to AZ! We have nice weather here but no pool in our backyard like ya'll and we have lotsa snow in winter!! Enjoy the heat!
it's always nice to be home and there is NOTHING like your own bed! i hear ya on that. Laguna is so beautiful! You guys are so lucky to have stayed for so long!
