㉟ Years Old!

The big ㉟ came and went and I don't feel too much different.  I can't believe I am officially in my mid 30's!  I have always understood that this is the Prime time of life. My mom has always told me since I was just a young girl that your mid 30's is the age you look and feel your BEST!  I am not quite sure I totally feel this way though. How do deeper wrinkles, more spider veins, darker roots, relief society arms, more freckles or should I say brown spots, make you look your BEST? I guess the only way I can totally accept that the "aging process"  is happening successfully, is to look @ this as a BADGE OF HONOR that I have earned for being a mother!  I was reading my cousins blog a while back and this is sorta the way she looked at getting older and it has really stuck with me.  Instead of being depressed about my BEAUTIFUL spider veins and my body that has been changed from 5 pregnancies,  I can look at this as something I have earned and I can actually be proud of my many flaws!  Life is an interesting thing and I just hope that every year I become a little bit more mature and a whole lot smarter. I want to thank my sweet husband for making my day so relaxing. I didn't have to worry about dinner, dishes or just plain taking care of kids & their quarrels. I actually snuck a 2 1/2 hour nap in!!!
Thanks babe your the best.

I love my new lap top

Austin & Sophie

I always look forward to my husbands funny birthday cards!

Family, friends and neighbors came over to help celebrate. Thanks to my mom for making me my favorite german chocolate cake and a huge thanks to everybody for all the sweet texts, phone calls, birthday treats and much more - I have the GREATEST family & friends in the whole world!
I LOVE YOU ALL!

You still look like a teenager. I don't know where those "wrinkles" are, but you look better than ever. Keep up the graceful aging!

Well said! As you know, I have nicknamed each one of my rolls on my tummy my childrens names! Kids are well worth what they put our bodies through. I wish I looked like you before I started having kids! We obviously didn't get the same genes there. Thanks for letting us share your birthday with you. I'm glad you had such a good day. You deserved it!
