Last Friday was HJHS, shadow your student day. Which is where the parent goes to school with their child and follows them around to each class and gets the feel of what junior high is all about again. This is the 3rd time I have done this, twice with Austin and last year with Taylor. This year while we were sitting in 4th hour, we both decided it sounded more fun to take a little trip to San Tan mall and see what we could find at forever 21, our favorite store ~ then we followed up with lunch at paradise bakery.
I know. It's probably not good to be encouraging my daughter to ditch school with me.
It was of course half day.... so we got home to meet the little kids and little by little junior high kids were trickling in, one by one. Before I knew it I counted 16 of them in our basement. At one time point there were 21 kids besides my own down there, with Cannon and Cooper's friends. It was a crazy day, which is pretty usual over here.
I am just so grateful my kids all have such good friends.

my oh my, taylor is SO pretty! she doesn't have that awkward, ugly duckling stage at all. SO pretty Taylor!
