Israel...not today!

It's hard to believe that I should be getting my last minute things packed up and preparing us to leave for Israel this afternoon! We have been looking forward to our amazing adventure to the holy land, that my parents presented to us on Christmas Day, 2009. They wanted so badly to take all their children and their spouses to the holy land, to learn more about our Savior's life. Unfortunately, our plans came to a jolting halt last Wednesday morning, when the call came from my dad that mama~seeta had suffered a heart attack and was in the hospital. I absolutely know.... everything that takes place in our lives is not an accident or a coincidence. For what ever reason, our family (all 14 of us) are not suppose to be boarding that plane to Tel Aviv this afternoon. We have now turned our thoughts and concerns onto the status of our mama~seeta. We have offered many, many prayers on her behalf and only care about how her situation is going to end up! The Lord obviously has a different agenda for us at this point. Our mama~seeta came home from the hospital last Sunday morning and unfortunately, went back in Monday evening, due to pressure on her heart. She is still there today and hopefully going home soon. This has been an emotional roller coaster for her and our entire family. My dad is meeting with a team of specialists in San Diego this afternoon, in hopes that someone will be willing to perform surgery on her main artery that has been damaged. As for right now, it is the answer and best solution for her long term health. We are hoping and praying for answers and some different options.
I am grateful for the many people who have showed their concerns to our family at this time. I have amazing friends and neighbors! The Lord has blessed us in so many ways.

These are just a few pictures that I snapped when I was in California last weekend:

and I hope I don't get in trouble for posting this picture of mama~seeta... When I showed it to her last weekend, she claimed she looked awful.... I think she still looks gorgeous, especially, considering her circumstances!

{Thanks..I can always count on you for pictures!}

And yes I think she looks beautiful laying there in a hospital bed...I don't look that good sitting up healthy WITH make up on.

So glad you guys could all jump on a plane to be there with her. I'm still in shock over it all & can't believe we would be on our 14 hour flight right now!
