First, I want to say thank you to Kristyn McBride for taking these beautiful pictures below. She is so talented and did an amazing job. We couldn't be happier and will cherish them forever.
When Kristyn first showed me them, I couldn't help myself from becoming completely emotional again! Every time I look through them, I can't help but think, this is the day my sister buried her first daughter. It doesn't feel right to me. It feels unfair. When I look at these pictures and see the expressions on Jason and Tiffany's faces, it makes my heart ache all over again. I can't imagine burying my beautiful daughter. It makes my stomach hurt really bad at times and I am just the sister and aunt. Emmie's not my daughter and I hurt. I miss her! I can't even fathom what pain Tiff and J feel?! I can't pretend to know what it feels like to loose such a precious child.
I do know... they are strong and they are looking to the right source for strength and healing. I admire them for their courage. They are focusing on the good that has come from Emmie's passing and the amount of people's lives her spirit has touched. Their strength amazes me. I am grateful for their continuous example to live righteously and to follow our Saviors example to the best of their ability. They have taught me so much.
More than anything... I am thankful for the Plan of Salvation and for the knowledge of Eternal families. I know that Families are Forever and that we will be with Emmie again one day and I can't wait! I can not wait to hear the words she has to speak. I know she is one of our Heavenly Fathers choice daughters!

Our casket bearers:

Jason dedicated her grave site and gave a beautiful prayer.

It was a hot and an emotional day

and a day I will never forget

Our little red headed Elle Belle

My amazing friends who are always there for me... through thick and thin and accept me for who I am.
