Sophie's prayer

Last night, Sophie found Taylor's old curlers in the bottom of one of her bathroom drawers. All of sudden she had this strong desire to wear her hair in curls today and would not give up. After some strong persuasion, she convinced me it was the thing to do. She won again. Shortly after we were done wrapping her hair in curlers, we knelt for family prayer and this is how Sophie's prayer went:

Dear Heavenly Father,
We are thankful to be here together. Please bless us to be nice to each other and not to fight. Please bless Tiff, J, Ava and Elsie that they will feel better and not be sad. Bless Emmie that she will be okay in heaven. Please bless that my hair will be really curly in the morning.... Please bless that our home will be safe and won't start on fire. We are thankful for our family and cousins and the roof over our head. We say these things in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

What a precious prayer... straight from her heart! I love little kids and how honest they are. I am dying that Cannon and Sophie are growing up so fast. I will miss these sweet innocent moments that happen so often when you have little kids. When she said this prayer, I could tell it was sincere and she truly just wanted her hair to be really curly this morning.

{As she was laying in my bed, trying to wake up this morning, I captured this cute photo}

Her prayer was answered.... she had curls and lots of them! So many curls, that she decided she wanted her hair pulled back into a high pony tail. She definitely has an opinion and knows just what she wants. She was thrilled and loved bouncing around, swinging that pony tail.

And this is off the subject but what's with the
Silly band craze??
I had to get a picture of their bandz, my kids have been obsessed with them for the past couple of months. Everyday they were coming home with requests to go to the store to get this "special band." I think it is funny how fast trends come and go. Cannon is already done with it and has decided that they hurt his arm and informed me, he will probably be giving them to his buddies!
