I'm sure anyone who has had a kindergartner or a preschooler has made a "mini me!" Sophie and I (probably more me than her) finished her person this morning and she was pretty proud about the way it turned out. She was so excited to take it to kindergarten and show Mrs. Monseguer. When she came home, I asked her if she stood in front of the class and talked about her mini me. Her reply... (of course in her dramatic voice) "YES, and Mrs. Monseguer said, "mine was the cuuutteesstt out of the whooole class, mom!" I just looked at her, with my look of disappointment and said, "are you sure about that?" Okay maybe not the cutest, but she reeaally loved it! She has been a little bit of a fibber lately. However, this is probably going to be one of the last "mini me" projects I will do, so I had to get a picture to document.
This picture has nothing to do with her project - but, I had to throw it in. The past few days, miss independent has totally been into cooking her own food all by herself. She sure is going to be a great little mommy someday and she sure loves LOTS of butter on her toast!

She is a doll of course! I love her mini me. That sounds just like her to say her teacher said hers was the cuuutteeesssttt one!! Too funny. I can't believe that is YOUR last "mini me".

Too cute! She is seriously a hoot! Brynlee loves being around her. She is too fun! And oh how we would die for that hair around here. Seriously Brynlee is 4 and we can not even get a ponytail!
I love making mini-me's. Meg still has hers hanging in her room from Kindergarten.
