Sophie : I HATE dance - I don't want to go
Mom : Why sweetie? You love it.
Sophie : NO I DON'T. I HATE IT.
Mom : Please don't say the word HATE - it's not nice. Are you mad that I made you come home from Hallee's house to eat and get ready?
Sophie : YES mom and I don't like the splits and stretching.
Mom : I know sweetie, but that's what makes you flexible. Do you remember that you were sure you were going to make this commitment when I SIGNED you up?
Sophie : Why did you SIGN me up?
Mom : Because you asked me to.
Sophie : Well then, SIGN ME OUT - I hate it.
Mom thinking to self : grrrr..... Why in the heck am I doing this to myself?
It is a 10 min drive to dance - so this was a condensed version of the conversation. Hopefully Monday goes a little smoother!

Sounds like Ava the week before. Don't worry... Ava told Soph that if she went to practice then she gets to go on the cruise with the team and swim and kiss dolphins. That is what I told Ava the week before when she was throwing a fit prior to dance. It worked! I hope we are making the right decision! Oh but I love the... well sign me out! smart girl.
