Taylor and her posse had their LAST late night here at our house the other night. They had plans to watch a movie, pop popcorn and just chill! As a witness, I am here to say.... that wasn't quite what happened. They danced and sang along to some really LOUD music all night. What it would be like to be 12 years old again.
I have mixed emotions with school starting, I enjoy the relaxed schedule and less driving. However, I have found that I am a better mom with specific bed times, breakfast and dinner at normal hours. Just knowing what is going to be happening the next hour will be nice. So, today I can say... The party is over!
It was fun and all, but I am ready.

Each one of these girls are great friends to Taylor and they LOVE hangin out!

My daughter seems to be the craziest out of the bunch - she must get it from the SIMAS side

Cooper definitely doesn't have a problem watching the drama and chaos
Actually, he REALLY likes it!

The next day they had a little pool party and pizza

Sophie sure has no problem hanging with the BIG girls

Big sister - Little sister

The girls telling secrets.... notice Cooper right in the middle trying to listen.
Taylor uninvited him quickly!!

Tracey, how neat to document her last few hours of summer vacation. I remember being her age and not a worry in the world. Looks like you guys had so much fun. I could do without the music and dancing ALL night though..been there, done that!
I look at those cute pictures and I remember how it was to be 12 and I feel sad that these girls have to grow up and experience "life". They are so cute and innocent and have so much fun. Jr. High is a bit scarry and I wish that we could just keep them in this perfect little fairy tale bubble they have going. Thanks for hosting the great party. It has been a great summer! glad Randi and Taylor are such good friends.
I hear you on the part being over.
Cute pics....looks like that is the party house.
How fun they must of had!! I wish I could say I was ready, I had the hardest time sending them off. They had a great time and loved their teachers. We will see how they feel after weeks and weeks of waking up early
i agree i am a much better mom when I have a routine & schedule. Looks like a 12years olds paradise in these pics. aw..to be young again!
What cute pictures! Tay is so lucky to have such a great group of friends. They are all so sweet! Tay is always good at making up cute dances. I can actually picture what she is doing when I looked at those pictures of them dancing. She is so entertaining, I love her! I will never forget my first day of Junior High. I am glad she like it. Coop.... you are hilarious, always in to everyones business!
