I love teenage girls.

But, the cell phone distraction... is not something I love. It has been a serious debate over at our house. The time management part, that is!

This photo captures what I witness daily.

And, that is why I have such a love for photography.

I want to capture all of these different stages and moments of my growing children. Because that is what they are... fleeting moments that will pass. I keep trying to remind myself that Taylor's cell phone won't always be a top priority and a total distraction! She won't be a teenager forever. One day she will be grown and gone and teaching her children, all of the things we are continually trying to teach her.

I am trying to embrace these moments with my teenage daughter and love these moments that I will never get back.
