This morning I told my girls as soon as their jobs were done we were heading to the mall to purchase some gifts for all of the parties we had today. Sophie went to find her money and quickly realized that her $8 she had been saving in one of her purses, was GONE! She was so upset and just crying her eyes out. Taylor & I felt sooo bad for her - our hearts just ached for this poor girl. She has been saving for many weeks and has been really responsible with her money. Out of all our kids, Sophie is one who really values a dollar. Tay whispers, "mom, your going to give her the money back... right?" I answered, "probably not, she needs to learn to be responsible for her things - these are the lessons in life that are not so fun." So BIG sister takes her by the hand & says, "come on Soph lets see if I can help you find your money."
A little time passed by and I am trying to get out the door, ordering the girls to get in the car and Sophie says to me, "wait mom, I need to say a prayer and ask Heavenly Father to
help me find my money, before I go!" Awwww.... "who gave you that idea?" she replies, "TAY-TAY did." My heart just melted and I wanted to cry! She went in the other room, dropped to her knees and prayed. It was such a sweet sight and I just felt so grateful that Taylor would take the time and suggest to her little sister, to say a prayer. What a great example she is to Soph.
Today was another PAY DAY!
So far, the money has not been found.... to be continued!

How cute! I love to see siblings have empathy for each other. It melts my heart!
That is the perfect title for this post! What a great story.
OH that is so cute. Taylor is such a great big sister. I hope the money will show up soon.
