Summer Garden

I can't take much credit for our summer garden this year

All credit goes to Scott, Austin and Cooper. Scott organized and planted it with the boys and Austin was the faithful water boy.... with some help from Cooper. I honestly did not even know what they planted this year until after it was all said and done. I started taking interest in the garden when it started to bloom and grow.

Lame... I know!

I took most of these pictures a month ago and just haven't had the time to post, I am so behind.

I think Soph picked this tiny carrot, a little soon or it's just tiny...

It looks like we are growing some pumpkins, watermelon and red peppers

I am anxious to taste this watermelon

Here we have a cucumber, that Scott was hoping to pickle

I took a picture of these, thinking they were some kind of berry. I was informed by my husband that they are not and he can't remember what they are. So, if anyone is an expert with gardening and knows what this plant might be... let me know.

My curiosity is high.

We also planted onions, tomatoes, bush beans and lettuce.

What a fun family project.... that I promise to be more involved in next year!
