Swimming

It is definitely summer vacation over here...

Who needs a bath when it seems like all our kids do is swim every day!?

Sophie's hair is pretty green!
She is the only one who has been spending lots of time in the bath. Only because I work every other day trying to get the green out of her hair. Ketchup has seemed to do the trick, until the next time she gets in the pool. How does blond hair turn green, when you have a salt water pool?

This picture below shows a little of what we are dealing with, but thankfully... it looks better today.

Summer has been pretty laid back so far. We have spent lots of time with our family and friends and the kids have had so many "cousin sleepovers."

As much as I need structure in my home, it feels good somedays to just hang out and do a whole lot of nothing...

except hang out with your cute kids and capture a picture of them here and there.

Cannon has been working on his back flip off the diving board

and I am just grateful we haven't needed stitches so far! He has come pretty close to the edge of that board.

And I just realized.... poor Austin!
Not one picture of him in the pool, in the middle of the day. Between summer school and work, there is not much time for play. He is looking forward to a little relaxation in July.

Tracey, when school starts back up, I was wondering if you could teach me a little refresher on my camera? After we took those classes last year I got my diagnosis and I have not been able to do anything with it, I forgot so much of what she told us. I think you're pictures are amazing. Oh yeah and I'll pay you, just let me know

When I was little I had the same problem with "green" hair. I remember my mom having to use this dark shampoo called "green out" It seemed to do the trick. I don't even know if they still sell it but I do remember being traumatized by the "green hair" Good luck :)
