Cooper has some serious confidence.... Two weeks ago, he rode his bike down to walgreens with his buddy to buy a present for his Valentine. Talk about prepared. I am pretty sure my Valentine hasn't even thought about what he is getting me for the big "love day?!"
When I saw this chocolate in my laundry room refrigerator, I couldn't figure out where it came from. So of course I started asking around wondering who it belonged too. Sure enough, it belonged to Cooper. As I started quizzing him on who it was for and where he bought it... I asked him if he was worried at all that the girl he likes, might change by the time Valentine's Day actually comes. {It seems to change from week to week at this age} He claimed she would still be the lucky girl. I was just glad that it was actually still there this morning when he packed it into his back pack to take to school.
And, off he went with his big teddy bear that says, "wild about you" and chocolate rose with a box of chocolates.
He sure is a confident kid and she is a lucky little 6th grader!
Soph was all excited about Valentine's Day this morning. While we were doing her hair, we were chatting about the fact that Valentine's Day is actually on Sunday this year, it's not really today. She says to me.... "sweet, that means we don't have to go to church on Sunday!" I assured her that wasn't the case and that we would indeed be at church this week.
She's such a stinker.
She was having a hard time staying on task this morning. She just wanted to keep adding and adding and adding to her Valentine's box. This girls mentality is, the more the merrier! She loves crafts and she was killin' me.

Coop cracks me up! It so fits his personality. So confident! Did he give it to his main squeeze or did he move on to another girl? Soph and her box is so cute. Fits her perfect too... perfectionist!
