Sophie's 1st grade class had a Mother's Day Tea date yesterday and it was adorable!

I got the royal treatment from my sweet girl... She gave me an awesome hand massage and painted my finger nails "hot pink!" Then she decided I needed some white polka dots to go on my "hot pink toes."
She seriously did a great job!

You can't really see the nails but they sure look good!

I got the cutest poems, notes and pictures of us together.
My Mother
By: Sophie
My mother is 36 years old. She has blond hair and blue eyes. We live in a two story house with black and brown furniture. My mother does special things for me. The nicest thing she does is take me on trips. Her favorite day is Sunday. Her favorite thing to do is swing on the swings with me. My mother is a good cook. The best thing she makes is hamburgers. Someday my mom will go to Aspen Grove.
and here is another form that she filled out:
- M ost loving
- O utrageously beautiful
- T rust worthy
- H andy
- E xtraordinary
- R ock star
{I love reading the things my kids come up with when they fill out these forms}

The class put on a cute little play about Mother's... it was adorable!

and then she made me a cute little wind chime, that you can't see in this picture because I think she was actually trying to focus on her friend Hayley behind me. Here I thought she was getting pictures of me, when in reality, Hayley was her focus.

Sophie's teacher went above and beyond with all the details to make this Mother's Day Tea a success. Soph pampered me rotten and sure knows how to make me feel special!
I love her and am so grateful to be her MOTHER
