I can't believe the Christmas season is here again. Where did all of last year go and how come time just continues to creep up on me sooner and sooner every year? It seems like the older our kids get, the quicker time seems to go.
Scott's more on the ball than I am this year.... We have it worked out where, he is in charge of the outside lights/wreath and I take care of the inside decor. He decided to rent a boom and he got our lights up before we left for California last week. Happy day. Of course, our kids were in heaven riding up and down with their dad. Our gadget guy, Austin.... he was really in heaven, trying to figure out how everything worked. I have to admit, he was pretty good.

Why is it that there is always a strand of lights that are out in the tree, the garland and this time, our big wreath? I don't like restringing lights.

These guys went up with their dad to help him hang the wreath. I don't know how much help they were but, they sure liked being up high.

After all my instructions of how to fluff a wreath, from the ground... Scott decided it would be better if Austin took me up and I did it myself. I am so scared of heights! Austin really enjoyed making things worse for me by jerking me back and forth when I wasn't expecting it. He was having a great time seeing me freak out.

I am just glad I made it down... alive.

of course you had to go up and fix it!! It looks great!!!
Oh how scary to be up that high. I always wondered how wreaths and lights get up that high. :)
I think that's quite humerous about Scott having you go up there to fix it.
