He will not forsake us....

This quote by President Hinckley hangs in between mine and Scott's two closets. It has been hanging there since we moved into our home 5 years ago. I love it! As a matter of fact, I loved it so much, that a few years back, I had several more made up and gave them away as Christmas gifts to family and friends. This quote has so much meaning to me and has brought me such peace at some very difficult times.

it reads....

"It isn't as bad as you sometimes think it is. It all works out. Don't worry. I say that to myself every morning. It will all work out. Put your trust in God, and move forward with faith and confidence in the future. The Lord will not forsake us. He will not forsake us..... If we will put our trust in Him, if we will pray to Him, if we will live worthy of His blessings, He will hear our prayers".
President Gordon B. Hinckley

The other day I realized that I had it memorized. I actually found myself repeating in my mind.... "The Lord will not forsake us. He will not forsake us". I know this to be true. I know the Lord will never leave us standing alone. He is just waiting for us to come to Him and ask. He cares about the details in our lives and wants us to be happy. He loves us! I am grateful for the love I feel from Him daily. I know if I do my part and serve Him, he will continue to bless my life, my husbands life and my children's lives. Things may not always go my way or work out the way I think they should, but I know it is His will and that He knows what is BEST for me and my family. I have faith in Him and I know He sees the bigger picture. I am grateful for my trials and my many, many blessings and had to express my thoughts today.

Tracey,
Hi! I am a friend of Monyas and she had your name on her blog. Anyway, it said Simas so I clicked on because I am a friend of your husband, Scott. Please tell him I said hello. Your family looks great and it's so nice to see that you are all doing well. Thanks for letting me peek into your life!
