Sophie's Thoughts

As I was sitting in church today, I went into my scriptures app, (where you can write notes in your journal) and I found this sweet testimony from Sophie. I'm not sure when this was written, but it must have been one day when she was playing on my iphone.

Jesus and heavenly father mean so much to me. He created me and he died so we could come to earth.I am so thankful for him and I know Josoph smith Is a true prophet and I love him no matter what! I know the scriptures are true. I love to read them and listen to them when I hear them! I am so thankful for my family and all my aunts,uncles and cousins and everyone I know!

I love to find this kind of stuff from my kids. It helps me to realize that they really are building their own testimonies about the Savior and the purpose of life. I think what brings me the most peace about her testimony, is that Sophie already knows who created her! And that tells me that she is beginning to understand who she is. I believe that knowing our Divine Nature and knowing our creator, will help each person recognize their full potential and that in turn, is what truly builds confidence!
