Family

I feel grateful for my family. Not only for my immediate family, but also for my extended family.

I am grateful for my little sisters. I love that Ashlyn is 9 months older than our oldest son.

Austin and Ashlyn have always had a special relationship... and still do! I love it.

I love that these two went on a double date last weekend, with some of their friends. I love that they act more like brother and sister, then her and I act like sisters!

I don't know if my kids realize yet, how fortunate they are to have so many people who love them, support them and want the best for them. Grandparents who pray daily for them.

I am grateful for a little sister who takes time out and comes to Taylor's games to watch her cheer, goes to the gym and takes her out to eat constantly... I love that she encourages Taylor to save her money and not to blow it on eating out.

I am grateful for my other sister who is at BYU and is a great example to me, as well as to my kids. A few days ago she sent out a mass text which stated:

I texted her back and asked if she would forward this to all of my older kids, (from her)... her response was, Oh, I already did! I am grateful for an amazing family. They get it and are on my team, helping to raise my kids! This isn't just my parents and sisters, this is all of their aunts and uncles. They all get... that it takes a village! And I am grateful for that.
