Last weekend our relief society had a cabin retreat up in Show low & I had such a great time! It was so fun getting to know all the different women on a different level. On a whole, I feel like I pretty much know most everyone on a personal level (due to a small ward) and it really does have that "ward family" feeling. We have so many amazing ladies with different strengths & weaknesses, I can honestly say that I have learned something different from each of them that has truly helped me grow. I am so grateful to have so many great friends in my ward that I can turn to for valuable advice, a listening ear, or just a great laugh!! Thanks to all of you who made this happen & especially to the Stapley's for letting us invade their cabin!
I know some of you are probably in shock to see that I am updating again! A few months ago my camera was dropped by one of my kids (who we won't mention) & the lens shattered. Needless to say...I finally purchased a new one. So, I have recommitted myself to keeping a record - journal of all the memorable things that take place in our lives, wish me luck!

WOW! I am in shock! Good job at keeping your blog up! You are so lucky to have such a good ward! It is such a big deal. I love my ward too, thats one of my reasonings for not wanting to move. Sounds like you guys had fun. I am sure you did a great job giving the devotional!
What a great idea and to be able to stay in something big enough to accommodate all those women. Is that Katey Zaharis in the picture with the blender in hand? How fun! It looks like you have a great ward, I feel that way about mine too.
Look at you, it was fun to get all caught up with your cute family. YOu guys have been busy! On a side note, what do you curl Sophie's hair with.
Wow you've gotten to do alot of fun things lately...familyless!! Looks like a neat group of ladies.
