Well... Austin is off on his trek, hiking the mountains! When he walked in my room this morning with all his loot on I couldn't help myself from chuckling, it was pretty cute seeing him all dressed up like a pioneer. We have been preparing for this for a few months, so I am quite anxious to hear about his experience. When I was dropping him off @ the stake center this morning I couldn't help but feel so grateful for all the adults who have volunteered their time and services to the youth of our stake, what an amazing sacrifice this is for these kids! I have never been on the trek but, I hear it is such a great experience being out in the wilderness without the finer things of life & realizing how great we all really have it! So, we will hear on Saturday evening how it was & what kind of testimony building experience he had, along with everyone else's. I have lots of friends & neighbors in our stake who are participating in this journey. So, good luck to all who are trekking, you are in our thoughts & prayers!

Bishop Erickson & Sis. Geddes

Cute little mia maid in our ward - love her!

Austin deep in thought!

Austin & Sammy riding with Bishop up to the trail

Mark - Austin - Ty

Austin with his good buddy Tyler -aren't they just so cute!

Denny & Nichole Barney - don't they look great? They are such great sports - I am so anxious to hear about their experience. You can't tell here but, Nichole's dress was really cute, her mom made it for her & of course she is adorable in anything!

Molly Pickett & more mia maids in the ward

Austin & Zack

My friend Molly & her husband Jimmy are ma & pa's on the trek - Jimmy is one of Austin's favorite leaders in young mens! Molly was not to sure about this whole thing but, I know they will do great!
