Things are looking up here in room 219
As far as Tiffany goes.... I am amazed! I feel like I am talking to a different person today. She says that her strength is coming from all of the fasting and praying that has gone on in the last 48 hours. Her ward started a fast this morning and she recognizes the power that comes from their prayers. She says she can actually feel the difference! It's amazing.
As far as Emmie goes... They found a seizure medication that has been working. She is on her way down (as I type) to get her MRI. We will know more of the damage that has been done when we get the results from her MRI and as she is weaned off of her sedation medication. We have a long road ahead and we continue to ask for your prayers at this difficult time. It is not fun playing the waiting game!
I am just so grateful to see my sister start to resume back to her normal self. She ate some cheese and crackers and is starting to laugh and smile again!
It is a good day.
P.S. I can not express the gratitude we all feel for the wonderful people who have embraced and shown their love and concern for Emmie, Tiff and Jason and even all of our extended family! They have absolutely been instruments in the Lord's hands and we truly feel the love, sincerity and concern from every single person.

I just got goose bumps! Emmie is such a sweet spirit. I know that I am thankful to have the Check's in my life! They are true examples of Christlike people and I know Heavenly Father will watch out for their family. Brynlee said the prayer this morning and it was all about Emmie, everyone loves Emmie!
It's good to hear that Tiffany is doing better and that Emmie is too. The power of prayer and fasting is amazing! Oh, how love the gospel and the power of the priesthood. Give Tiff another hug for me! We will continue to pray for them!
I am so happy to hear things are starting to look up for Emmie and her whole family. Emmie is on my mind all the time. Emmie is an amazing girl with an amazing family and friends. I will continue to pray for Emmie to continue getting better. Debbie you are in my thoughts all the time, if you need anything please do not hesitate to ask. Everytime i see Emmie's beautiful face, I see you as well, you are a great person and you make a great pair. I am so happy to hear that Tiffany is doing better as well.
