What a princess!
Emmie has been completely weaned from her sedation medication and the ventilator is slowly being turned down. We are hoping and praying that we will be able to see her beautiful eyes open... sooner than later! This morning she got a sponge bath and her hair washed and then Tiff gave her an awesome rub down, followed with a pedicure! Tiff said she could tell Emmie felt comforted from her massage when she noticed her heart rate decreased!
It must have been a good one!
We are still waiting and praying! The pediatrician told Tiff and Jason that this could be days before she wakes!
So please keep praying!

As I have had my heart ache a lot recently,(emmie, my brothers family etc etc) it has made my reflect on my testimony. I have really thought about my testimony and the things I believe. After I have pondered it, I know things for sure.Trials are hard, but I know our Heavenly Father loves us.!!! He has a plan for each one of us. Families are eternal! as we go through trials, it makes us lean on him which makes our relationship with him stronger. He aches for us. I know fasting and prayers work. I have seen it!!!. Through our heartache, we gain the love he has for each of us. If we put our trust in him, he will ease our pain. He loves little emmie and her family. He will bless them! We will continually pray for the check family!
My thoughts and prayers are with you. It is so obvious just from the pictures how much Emmie is loved. Her mom takes such good care of her! She always looks so beautiful. All of the pictures show family doting on her. She is a special little girl and I hope she makes it through this.
Thank you for the updates Tracey! We have been praying for Emmie in our family prayers and we miss her at school!! We are all praying for Princess Emmie and Tiff & Jason. She is a strong little girl. I had a dream about her last night that Stephanie & I came to see her and she was so excited to see us she rolled over on her side with a smile!! :)
I would love to come see her and the family so please let us know when that would be ok again!! In the mean time, PLEASE kiss Princess Emmie for me and give Tiff & Jason and Debbie a hug for me!!
